Rules
By joining the Minecraft server or the discord server, you agree to abide by these rules. Please, read these rules carefully.
Here are the Lifesteal Rules

SMP Rules
When describing an area, the dimensions specified are the entire width and height, not the radius.
As shown here, a 2048 by 2048 square is until 1024, 1024:
Griefing
Outer spawn: A 2048 by 2048 square centered on 0,0 in the Overworld
Inner spawn: A 512 by 512 square centered on 0,0 in the Overworld
End island: A 512 by 512 square centered on 0,0 in the End
Grief: The damage of land or structures (stealing items or killing mobs are fine)
Griefing is allowed in any shape or form, with three exceptions:
- You cannot grief buildings in outer spawn
- You cannot grief at all in inner spawn or the end island
- You cannot break the end portal blocks themselves
Please note that TNT minecarts are considered griefing, if you do not fill the hole back up.
Combat
An ongoing fight: Where a player has successfully hit (with a weapon) another player in the past 30 seconds (+/- 0.5 seconds). This excludes when both players agree that it was just friendly combat.
You can not log out during combat. This is considered "combat logging".
Chunkbans
Outer spawn: 2048 by 2048 square centered on 0,0
Chunkbans are not allowed in outer spawn.
Dupes
Duping is not allowed, excluding TNT, rails, carpet, tripwire, string and gravel & sand dupes. The string dupe was patched in 1.21.2, so I recommend to use a tripwire dupe instead.
Cheats
Cheating: Using client side mods to get an unfair advantage (check our allowed and prohibited mods list)
No cheating is permitted under any circumstances.
Illegal items
Illegal item(s): Items not obtainable in the vanilla survival game without using bugs, exploits, commands or cheats (spawn eggs, bedrock, command blocks etc.)
Being found using or possessing an (obvious) illegal item(s) will result in an inventory wipe (and your items not being returned) + 3 day ban. When we say obvious, we mean instantly recognisable as not vanilla, like an Efficiency 255 pickaxe or a spawn egg.
Ban evading
Planning, trying or managing to evade a ban by using an alt, VPN, or other method is not allowed.
Chat
The chat rules (below) apply to the chat, signs, named items, or any form of communication in the Minecraft server.
Discord & Chat Rules
No racism, bigotry or hate speech
This includes the r-slur and the n-slur (even if you are of a black ethnicity). Any offence will be taken seriously.
No "Severe" NSFW
This means anything 18+, for example mentions of s*x or r*pe. Naming or calling another player as “daddy” is not allowed. Swearing/cursing is allowed.
No targeted harassment
Targeting a player with repeated negative behaviour (insults or hostility) is not allowed. If a player asks you to stop, you must stop immediately.
No advertising
This includes promotion of third parties, other guilds, other servers or self promo. You are exempt if I (RPiCPU/Blue Lightning) have permitted you to promote it or it is directly linked to True Vanilla (e.g. a faction discord that is on the server). Do not send any discord links in the server before asking RPiCPU/Blue Lightning, as you will be automatically muted for 7 days.
No doxxing
No leaking private or sensitive information about someone in real life (leaking coordinates of their Minecraft base is fine).
No spamming
Spamming: 4 or more messages directly after each other. Messaging people privately is exempt.
Do not flood the chat with repeated messages, links, GIFs, mentions etc.
No poll manipulation
This means that when a staff member makes a poll, you can't offer rewards or incentives to vote for an option. Convincing people with reasoning is allowed however.
Don't ping staff unnecessarily
This includes:
- 6 or less hours after opening a ticket
- 2 or more times in a row
No asking for help in Direct Messages (discord & Minecraft!)
If you can deal with it in a ticket, do so.
No impersonating people
Further info on the rules
You are to report an incident to the staff immediately. If you do not do so within 2 days, your issue will not be prioritised and might not even be considered.
"I didn't know that was a rule" is not an excuse and will be treated the same as if you did know about the rule.
The rules are to be treated as the "minimum baseline". Use common sense.
Any punishment, consequence or decision based on these rules is fully up to the respective staff member.
You are fully responsible for your account(s) and your IP/network you play on.
An account/network breaking the rules will still end up with a punishment, even if the action taken wasn't yours.
Do not try to exploit the rules or abuse loopholes.
It will still count as a bannable offence. A good rule of thumb is that if your argument has a "but", it will likely still be against the rules.
