Ban Lengths

An article to staff for how long you should ban someone for.

If the ban is not permanent, as temporary bans are manually banned and unbanned, you must add the length of the ban and the unban date in the ban reason.

The 1st offence (excluding warnings) is below, 2nd offence is double the 1st, 3rd is double the 2nd, etc.

As there has been some confusion in the past, ignore what the length of the previous ban for a player was, just follow this.

Griefing (after warning)
3 days
Combat logging (after warning)
3 days, and using `/view inv <player>` return the combat logger's loot to the person who was killing them
The r-slur (after warning)
3 day ban
NSFW (after warning)
1 day ban
Racist language
Permanent
Illegal items
3 days, and using `/view inv <player>` wipe their inventory
Hacking/cheats
Permanent
Doxxing
31 days
Lagging the server (with a lag machine, a very big farm is just a warning)
14 days
