Welcome to the True Vanilla wiki! This page explains how to correctly create new pages and avoid common mistakes.

Before you create a page

Before creating a new page, make sure:

  • The topic is relevant to the True Vanilla community.
  • A similar page does not already exist (use the search bar).
  • You are logged into an account (create one here if needed).

Duplicate or unnecessary pages may be deleted.

Creating a new page

The easiest way to create a page is via the search bar at the top right of the wiki.

Steps:

  1. Enter the page name you want to create.
  2. If the page does not exist, you will see a message like:
Create the page "PageName" on this wiki!
  3. Click the red link to open the editor.
  4. Start writing your content.

When naming your page, follow the naming conventions.

Page structure

A basic page should include:

  • A short intro explaining what the page is about.
  • Clear section headings using == Heading ==.
  • Proper formatting (see Help:Formatting).

If the page is incomplete, add {{Stub}} at the very top.

Finishing up

Before saving:

  • Click "Show Preview" to check formatting.
  • Make sure spelling and formatting look right.
  • Add a short edit summary.

Once saved, your page will be live immediately.
